Living a meaningless life?

Living a meaningless life?

Confused about the here-after?

Frustrated that there are so many different churches, and wonder which one is right?

Tired of the same old church experience, and bored with the same sermon topics week after week?

Want to discover the answers for yourself, not just what some preacher or parent told you to believe?

If you said “yes” in response to any of these questions, then you should visit us at FreedomBaptistChurch.  If you’ve got questions, we have answers, and they come from God’s Word, the Bible.

Who are we?  We’re FreedomBaptistChurch (Independent) in Greeneville, Tennessee.  FreedomBaptistChurch is a fundamental, dispensational, independent, old-fashioned, Bible-believing church.  As such, we have no denominational ties with any organization, but have fellowship with all who honor the Word of God and the God of the Word.

We are a warm, friendly, exciting, growing church.  We are delighted to have visitors, especially serious seekers.  We do not apply heavy-handed or coercive tactics to get people to attend or to join.  We are also financially sound, so we don’t beg people for money – we ask only that our members give cheerfully as the Lord has prospered them.

As a local church body, we assemble together to worship the Lord.  When we gather as the local church, our main emphasis is to teach correct doctrine, provide Christian fellowship, pray for the power and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, and carry out the directives of the New Testament church.  (Acts 2:42)  When you come to church, we want you to LEARN!

If you don’t know the Lord, we want you to meet him.  If you already know Him, we desire to have you first grow deep in the Word and then carry out your calling as a disciple of Christ.

But we are not for everyone.  We are not casual about our Christianity.  Our approach will seem too strict or too narrow for some believers.  We do not do “church as usual.”   We consider our main calling to be that of making true Christian warriors who are committed followers of the Word.

It is our prayer that we can help you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as you seek to do His will.
